About Me =D

Male, 17 plus, with a height of 174cm, I am a Malaysian. I was born in Ipoh, Perak. Currently studying in Universiti Teknologi Petronas, which is located far away from any city and this make life a bit dull here. So, whenever there is holiday or it is weekend, I will never hesitate to pack my things and go home. Undeniably, the food at home is nicer than the food in university. I always wonder how much the canteen owner earn per month.
I joined UTP in 2011 Jan intake, enrolled in foundation in chemical engineering. Since young, I always dream of saving the world. I would like to make the world a better place for mankind. I always feel like leading the public to support the campaign of saving the world like Earth Hour. That’s why I pursue chemical engineering where I can later on focus on waste disposal and earth structure and then, I will be able to contribute more to the world by introducing new solution to curb pollution.
I have a family member of five, comprises my father, mother, two younger siblings and me. My father doesn’t earn much, he is just a sundry shop owner. That is why he always ask us to study hard for a better future. My mother is a housewife, but she can definitely become a great chef. I love her food the most, especially when I am obliged to eat the same food over and over again in university. My younger brother, Form 3, is going to sit for his PMR this year while my sister Form 2, is still enjoying her secondary life. Well, sometimes I do envy them, no worries, no responsibilities, just study and play, if life is always that simple.
Basketball is my favourite sport. One of the many reasons why I am so obsessed with it is due to my height. It is an additional talent in playing basketball since taller person can grab for the ball easier. Besides that, I like to play instrument too, but shameful to say that I am still a beginner. It is something fun, but to master an instrument, it is so tough. I do not know whether everyone shares the same view or I am not talented in playing instrument. Frankly, I dislike studying. But what to do? Without a degree or master certificate nowadays, do not ever think of getting a high paid job. If time is reversible, how much fun is it living in a primitive society.
Anyway, life is never easy. It is always filled with hurdles and challenges but only then life is full of surprise. Do remember this quote, if you are going through hell, keep going. Thus, let’s together live out our lives to the utmost, do whatever you intend to, we are not living in eternity, it is just now or never.

Receiving The SPM result

My eye balls rolled down as fast as possible, scanning through the exam slip, to check how much A+s was there. Surprisingly, out of expectation, there was 9A+s and 2A. It was like a dream, something impossible to achieve. I received an A+ for every subject except for English for Science and Technology and Chinese. I even had an A1 for Triple 1119.

I was really stunned upon seeing that. But, at the same time, the feeling of appreciation and jubilation was hard to control. I ran out of the hall and shouted once. I still could not believe what I saw just now. Hardwork finally paid off. With this excellent result, our prime minister, Datuk Seri Najib promised that we will get a JPA scholarship for sure. That’s the privilege for 9A+s scorers I supposed and I was glad that I was one of them.

My mother shed tear of joy. For the first time, I felt like I have done something at last to repay what my mother had sacrificed throughout this 18 years. I would say that if my mother exist, I will never be here today.
Followed up was congratulation from friends and teachers and photo taking session with friends and teachers. The day ended up at nearly 11am when everyone left.

I was truly grateful and thankful to God for giving me to pass the test with flying colours, with this result, I hope I can get a full scholarship to further my studies. It was just too wonderful to get straight As.

10 Things Needed for a Healthy Lifestyle

A healthy lifestyle allows you to feel good, look good and maintain a naturally high level of energy. It is never too late to change your diet or habits around so that you can incorporate more positive choices into your lifestyle to improve your health. An important thing to remember is that maintaining a healthy lifestyle is different than participating in a temporary diet fad or workout program. Rather, a healthy lifestyle can be accomplished by evaluating various aspects of your life and making changes where necessary.

Sleep
Sleep is a necessary part of living a healthy lifestyle. Your body depends on sleep to rest, gain strength and get you ready to carry out more tasks the next day. Many people have overly busy lives and lose a couple of hours of sleep in the evening or mornings as a result. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in 2008 11.1 percent of adult Americans reported that they had insufficient sleep for 30 consecutive nights. Insufficient sleep can cause you, and your immune system, to be run down.

Water
Water is the life source of all living things. Your body is made up of water, and it needs replenishing. To live a healthy lifestyle, make sure you drink enough water during the day to stay hydrated. Water also helps to flush out toxins from your body, so you can actually feel healthier by drinking it.

The Right Diet
A healthy diet is an integral part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Fresh fruits, vegetables, lean meats, nuts and whole grains are foods that can help you get all the vitamins and nutrients you need. Avoid greasy, high-fat and high-sodium foods. Substitute soda with unsweetened iced tea or lemon-flavored water.

Physical Exercise
Regular exercise keeps your body and heart in fit shape. You can prevent or reverse certain health issues by incorporating a regular exercise regimen into your day, such as lowering your blood pressure. According to "Duke Today," adults should be getting at least 30 minutes of exercise every day for a healthy lifestyle.

Positive Relationships
Having positive relationships and friendships in your life will keep you living a healthy lifestyle. Many people do not realize that negative relationships and friendships can be unhealthy, and that the body can react through various symptoms such as stomachaches, headaches, backaches, loss of appetite or sleep deprivation. Try to fill your life with friends and relationship partners who bring you laughter, smiles and happiness to help balance out your healthy lifestyle.

Breaks
Everybody needs breaks in the day to sit back and take a breather. Make sure that you are not neglecting yourself of valuable time away from the grind, which can help you regroup and reenergize.

Mental Health
Maintaining good mental health can help you keep an overall healthy lifestyle, and even help you avoid physical pains that come from things such as stress. Learn how to manage and reduce your stress through yoga, meditation, relaxation exercises or simply reading an enjoyable book.

Fresh Air and Sunshine
Try to break away from your office, home and gym to get some fresh air and sunshine. Incorporate more outdoor activities into your daily structure if you can, such as going on walks instead of using the treadmill, or taking your lunch outside with you instead of eating indoors.

Wellness Exams
Wellness exams are valuable because they allow you to practice preventative care so that you can maintain a healthy lifestyle. Keep a regular schedule of wellness exams so that you can stay on top of your health.

Hobbies
Find hobbies that you enjoy, and work them into your weekly routine. It is important to spend time doing something that you enjoy, as opposed to only fulfilling your scheduled obligations with work, the gym and household chores.

Uni Life

MAS stands for Minggu Aluan Siswa. Yup, you are right. I am studying in university now. Universiti Teknologi Petronas. Well, a quite prestigous university in Malayisa. About this uni, the only word to describe it is ENORMOUS! It's compound is undeniably large. Not forget to tell u all it's quite tiring and time wasting walking from our village to lecture hall or anywhere else.

MAS week has its another name too. Minggu Aku Seksa. So as written, it was really torturing. For almost everyday, we woke up at 6 or even 5am and sleep at 2am. Wee. Frankly, this was the first time I slept so late consistently for a week. But suprisingly, I didnt really feel drained. It was a fun and experience-gaining week, speaking english with everyone and of course meeting new friends. The whole week was full of suspense. I could still remember clearly on the first day, 2 malay guys fought suddenly during a briefing. Guess what, I was stupid enough to believe it was really happening. Maybe they really acted well. Haha.

Third day morning, woke up at 4 am upon the knocking sound. Well, fire drill. Some guys who were late still get water splashed. Haha. Fortunate enough not to be one of them. It must be so so so cold. =) The best to mention during MAS was the morale session. Roughly, there was only 60++ non-Muslims out of 600++. Wow, what a pity sight. Among them, about 20++ is Chinese. During morale session, we played a lot of foolish but exciting games.

Seniors there are helpful enough but still a minor group aren't. Normal. Oh ya, another important thing to mention about is its sport facilities! There are basketball court, badminton court, squash court, ping pong table, sepak takraw, hockey even swimming pool! Omg. I almost went for sports everyday since classes had not really start yet. Haha. =D

DOTA. Yeah, that was what the chinese gang do every night from 10pm to 2am. LOL. Of course, I didn't join them. Not that in too that. I slept at 12am everyday after MAS week! I supposed I was among the earliest.

Sometimes, I miss her. Recalling her noob face every morning inspired me. =0

Secondary school life

So here ends my secondary school life. Soon, we will embark on a brand new journey, with even more unexpectation.

I can still clearly recall the first day I went to Sam Tet. It was already the last few days of January. Ya, I transferred from Yuk Choy. Thanks to Mr. Saba generousity, I made it to 1S. The first class. ^.^ And he was the first teacher I felt grateful too. Haha.

In the blink of eyes, 5 years passed. 11 more days, I shall be stitting for SPM and 35 days more, everything ends. In this 5 years, somehow, we grew. We grew in both physical and mental. Our friendship bonds get stronger day by day. We gained experience and grew smarter and smarter after every agonizing experience. Actually, I still do not understand how can I went up to the stage and received the prize from. I wasn't a bright student when I was in lower secondary. But who knows? I blossomed somewhere between them.

For this 5 years, I strived through it. This was where I truly experienced teenage life, enjoyed the company of bosom buddies, learnt how to deal with stress, beared misery of acne flare-ups, and for sure learnt how to unveil the facades behind hypocrite. All of these unforgettable experiences had adorned my secondary school life with vivid colours. Despite of the affliction and torment I suffered from sometimes, I think I did enjoy more elated moments. This is it. My 5-years secondary school life, full of excitement and jubilation.

And this year, 5S1, we tend to appreciate each other more. Perhaps, this is the last year. Farewell gathering, psp, ping pong in class, and of course WATER-BLOWING conference made everything more unforgettable. Haha. Maybe for the another 10 years, we will be gathering again, recalling these sweet memories that will lay in our heart forever and ever. Hopefully, on that day, everyone of us has already achieved something in their life.

My secondary life. Love it. Miss it. But guys, what for, staying on this point of life and keep on thinking about it? Come on, let's move on and soar high. Let's conquer SPM together. 11 days more.

11A+, I am coming!! =]

Exam over. Yeah. Party time again. HAHA. Not feeling confident for this 2nd trial, yet the result wont be too bad. It's still okay. I have a strong feeling on it. =]

Edu fair again today. Mum seem to like University Of Nothingham much. However, the scholarship only cover for 25% no matter how good you are. Deal?

Hey, I am going to have a X6 8GB for my birthday. Woots. That's long ago since I received such expensive gift from my parents. Haha. Thanks, mum and dad. I will make good use of it. I promose. Love you all.

Exam gonna over. Everyone was cheating. Most of them did, and I am one of the exception. Haha. So, I dont really care about competing with them anymore. I did my best and that's all. I think I am quite satisfied with it, except for BIO. LOL. But that's my fault too. That's what I got when finished BIO in 9 hours. Haha. Amazing FLIPPING skill. Haha.

I went for NANYANG polytecnich scholarship interview today. Can't sleep at the night before this, argh, that's stupid. It was not that horrible as I thought. It was kinda relaxing and experience-gaining. Asking common question, which was not that hard to answer. At least, I could express everything I wanna say. Getting it will be a good news, but I do not think I am going to take that course anyway. It's something like electrical engineering. And that's not what I want. My ambition is to be a environmental now. I can do it, right? Ya, of course I can. Let my dream fly high.

Yeah, I am going to own an Android phone soon. For my 17th birthday, unbelievable, right? I feel kinda shocked too, hearing this statement from my mum. Haha. I promise you mummy, I will use it to find dictionary. I will do what I said. Trust me.
