Penang 2d1n

1st day
The journey started when we boarded Sri Maju express bus at 9am. The bus ticket was RM18, which was not too expensive. Along the journey, I took a nap. Know why? I fell asleep only at 2am the day before. Again imsonia? Hate it. Reached Penang at about 12pm. Something to mention about is that I didnt even know that we had passed Penang Bridge. Haha. Because I am focusing on Ong's PSP. NBA!! =D

Then, 7 of us started to wait for RAPID PENANG just in front Sungai Nibong bus terminal. Honestly, we got pissed off when those buses didnt pass in front of us. We spent nearly half hour here to wait for a bus. This gave us a bad impression towards penang bus system, but soon, it proved us wrong.

When the bus just reached KOMTAR, the main bus stop at Penang, the next bus came and it was the bus to Teluk Bahang. Without hesitating, we asked the driver, could it reach Gurney. YES, it can. Haha. So, we took another half hour ride.

Reaching Gurney, we found out that we had actually passed the hotel, or suppose to be an inn. So, we walked back to the HOPE INN. We paid RM200 for a double queen size bed room. And then we shifted one of the matress down, making it 3 beds for 6 ppl.

After changing into short pants, we set off to Batu Ferringi. We spent nearly 3 hours there. It was so fun. Haha. But the sea water was so so so salty. Ish. Lying on the beach watching the horizon, with those sea breeze blowing to you, it was really paradise. It was so memorable. Haha. But something to tell is that its toilet is so lousy. OMG. Stinky and dirty. @.@

Another long bus ride back to inn. We took a bath before walking to Gurney Plaza. We took dinner in the middle of the journey. Gurney, is a much more bigger shopping complex than Ipoh Parade. But actually, we just hung around because we didnt even what we to do there. Haha. No souveneirs, no shopping since it was a budget trip. LOL. We planned to watch 3D movie there but unfortunately, it was too late. So, we got out of Gurney and moved on to "wan zai ko". Stalls with different tasty cuisine. WA!!! I had a dou jing then machi!! Wa, so long didnt eat le. Yummy. =]

We bought a DVD before going back. Decided to watch it together since I was afraid of imsonia again. But finally everyone slept except Ong and Lai. Haha. Funny.

2nd day
Woke up at 7 something. But we went out and had breakfast at only 10something. Because someone cant wake up!! Haha. We had MCD that morning. Frankly, MCD breakfast sucks!! =.=

Back to Gurney and hang around again. Noon, we walked back to inn. Along the journey, those fellows went down to the beach and caught crabs. LOL. Beaches opposite of Gurney, was not clean and was not a tourism attraction. But still they want to jump down and catch crabs. LOL. I, only took photos aside. Haha.

After checking out, we took a bus and back to KOMTAR. There, we simply entered a shopping complex and had our lunch. Gosh, it costed me RM20. =.=|| A set of lunch. LOL. So expensive. I accidentally saw Piranha too. Haha. It was not that scarry.

About 3.30pm, we walked back to KOMTAR. I even bought a MCD sundae nearby. It was my first MCD ice cream. Haha. Nice and memorable. =D We boarded bus to back to Ipoh at 4.45pm. But it only reach at 8.30pm, know why? Traffic jam when we just drove past Taiping exit.

Penang Trip was still fun and memorable though it was a bit boring. =) The beach was so picturesque. It was a real miss we didnt wait for the sunset. Total expenses is RM117. Not too much, and yet, we enjoyed a lot of junk foods and cold drinks. =]

MY FIRST BUDGET TRIP WAS SO SUCCESSFUL.
